Itinerary
Day1: Launceston
Arrive into Launceston by 4 pm to check into your hotel. Meet in the evening for a welcome dinner at a local restaurant (D)
Overnight: Peppers Silos Launceston
Day 2: Launceston - North East Explorer
After a morning cruise in the Cataract Gorge you spend the remainder of the day exploring the North East region of Tasmania. The first stop is the breathtaking Bridestowe Lavender farm for a tour through their sweeping fields of lavender. After a picturesque lunch overlooking the windswept greens of the famous Barnbougle Golf Course you have an afternoon of tastings at a local vineyard and distillery, before returning to Launceston. Day 3: Launceston to Cradle Mountain
This morning you take a guided tour of the Beaconsfield Heritage and Mine Museum before driving through the rolling farmland and winding forest roads to Cradle Mountain. We stop to take in a relaxed lunch before exploring the quaint village of Sheffield. This evening you will enjoy a private nocturnal wildlife tour within Cradle Mountain National Park. (B,L,D)

Day 4: Cradle Mountain
After a leisurely morning, today we take a tour of the stunning Gunns Plains Caves before a delicious lunch and tasting at a local vineyard. Arriving back at Cradle Mountain, the afternoon is yours to spend at leisure before a sumptuous group dinner at the lodge. (B,L,D)

Wake up this morning to bird song and discover the natural geological wonders of Cradle Mountain with a morning guided walk at Dove Lake before a celebratory festive Christmas feast and a relaxed afternoon at leisure. (B,L,D)

Day 6: Cradle Mountain to Hobart
Leaving the mountain behind you travel through the everchanging landscape to Hobart. This morning you stop at Queenstown for a fascinating insight into the region’s mining and forestry history before continuing to Tasmania’s capital city. On the way you visit Mt Field National Park and view the famous Russell Falls. (B,L,D)

Day 7: Hobart - The Stunning South West
This morning you venture into the south west wilderness to explore the ancient forests on a guided tour at the Tahune Airwalk. In the afternoon you stop at Willie Smiths Apple Shed for a fascinating distillery experience. (B,L,D)

Day 8: Hobart - The best of Bruny Island
Enjoy a full day exploring the spectacular Bruny Island, tasting the delicacies from this region’s abundant artisan producers.
